DPA prepared roadway plans for the construction of Via Coconut Point (formerly Sandy Lane) from Williams Road to Pelican Colony Boulevard (1.9 miles) and for Pelican Colony Boulevard from US 41 to Via Coconut Point (0.3 mile). The design of these new, four-lane divided arterial roadways in Lee County, Florida included new roundabouts at Via Coconut Point and Williams Road, and at Via Coconut Point and Pelican Colony Boulevard.

The design elements of this project also included:

• Signalization of Via Coconut Point at the North Mall Entrance, and of Via Coconut Point at Coconut Road
• Dual 10’ by 6’ box culverts and quadruple 10’ by 6’ box culverts under Via Coconut Point between Coconut Road and Williams Road

DPA’s services included the preparation of the specifications package and bidding documents, as well as providing post design services during the construction phase of the project.
