DPA completed a parking improvement study for the town of Celebration, which is a Walt Disney Imagineering community.  The specific objectives of the Celebration Town Center Parking Improvement Study included the following.

• Develop a parking management plan that includes enforcement strategies, an implementation plan, and a public information /education plan.
• Develop a parking plan identifying ways to optimize the number of on-street and off-street parking spaces, minimize the walking distances from parking areas to the commercial areas, and improve parking efficiency.
• Develop a parking sign plan to better identify public parking areas.

DPA’s recommendations significantly increased the number of on-street and off-street parking spaces in Celebration’s Town Center.  The plans and recommendations were well received by the decision-makers and commercial property owners and have been implemented by the Town of Celebration.
