The Collier County Government Center is a government office complex located in the urban center of Collier County.  The Government Center provides a central location for general governmental services provided by the Board of County Commissioners, as well as Constitutional Offices, including the Tax Collector, Property Appraisers, Supervisor of Elections and Sheriff.

DPA assisted Collier County in the preparation of its Space Needs Analysis and Campus Master Plan.  Traffic services included access, internal vehicular and pedestrian circulation, parking needs, internal traffic control, and site location.

DPA’s involvement in the Government Center DRI was a continuation of its role in the transportation planning for the Government Center. DPA’s activities during the Government Center DRI process included:  the preparation of the Question 21 Transportation and subsequent sufficiency responses; supplemental traffic studies in support of the Juvenile Justice Center, including its proportionate share of needed improvements; development of the DRI’s proportionate share of needed road improvements; and negotiation of traffic mitigation conditions.
