The Carillion Phase II Tower and the main parking garage for the complex exit onto NE 69 Street in Miami Beach. The high volume of traffic from the parking garage required a new traffic signal at the intersection of Collins Avenue and NE 69 Street.

DPA designed and performed the construction administration for the mast arm signal at this intersection. This signal design included the latest FDOT requirements for illuminated street name signs; pedestrian countdown displays; LED signal head displays; relocation of an existing crosswalk; and ADA compliant sidewalk ramps. Permitting and inspections were required by both Miami-Dade County Public Works and the FDOT.
