This project consisted of the reconstruction of the roadway network in downtown Doral.  DPA completed the design phase, which included the reconstruction of NW 53 Street, extension of NW 53 Terrace and NW 84 Avenue, and construction of a new roundabout at NW 53 Terrace and NW 84 Avenue.  Designated bicycle lanes, on-street parking, wide sidewalks, and decorative street lighting were some of the new elements of these roadways.  In addition to the roadway elements, DPA developed grading, drainage, signing and pavement marking, and lighting plans. DPA also prepared plans for traffic signal modifications at 2 major intersections, 2,700 linear feet of 12-inch water mains, and 2,000 linear feet of 8-inch, 12-inch, and 16-inch sanitary sewer lines.  DPA provided post design services during the construction phase of this $5 million project.
