Since March, 2006, DPA has had the good fortune to be the Traffic Engineering / Planning Consultant to Hendry County.  Under that contract, DPA assisted Hendry County in the preparation and adoption of the 2030 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).  The LRTP, with its supporting data and analysis, forms the cornerstone for transportation improvements in Hendry County, including its Comprehensive Pathway Plan.

Other related services included:  the preparation of the West LaBelle Area Study, which evaluated alternative land use scenarios and roadway networks; the formulation of the Capital Improvement Element of the county’s Comprehensive Plan; assistance in the preparation and refinements to the county’s concurrency management system and proportionate share ordinance; and participation in transportation workshops in the county.
