The Kingman Road project (SW 152 Avenue), from SW 307 Street to SW 312 Street in Homestead, was the realignment of an existing two-lane roadway with new driveway connections to a proposed retail development.  DPA was involved in the design of the improvements, from the conceptual layout of the realignment to the final design and construction administration. The project required land acquisition from the Florida Turnpike Enterprise (FTE),  private developers, and Miami-Dade County (MDC) to accommodate the new three-lane roadway, which includes a roundabout. Modifications to the SW 312 Street median and signals were also part of the design. Approvals were required from the FTE, MDC and the city of Homestead.
