South LaBelle Village

The South LaBelle Village was the first DRI approved in Hendry County in 35 years.  The 1,018-acre DRI was approved in July, 2008 and includes 2,500 residential units and 270,000 square feet of retail and office space, much of which is located within an internal village center.  DPA provided the traffic studies in support of the DRI, as well as for the comprehensive plan amendment.

The developer is working closely with the city of LaBelle, Hendry County and the FDOT to advance the Helms Road Extension, which will run along the northern edge of South LaBelle Village.  DPA developed an access management plan for the new road.
